Here Comes Google’s Chrome Browser
Google Chrome (Beta version) browser by Google can be downloaded here.
Aimed at countering Internet Explorer’s dominance and ensuring easy access to the Google search engine, the free browser called "Chrome" is a beta version (meaning it is still under evaluation or testing) now available for downloading starting today for Microsoft’s Windows operating systems.

Google said they are still working on versions compatible with Apple’s Mac computers and the Linux operating system.
Google has been trying to take advantage of its popular search engine to loosen Microsoft’s grip on how most people interact with personal computers. Google has created applications for word processing and spreadsheets that they offer as an alternative to Microsoft’s Office suite of products.
Google had been trying to beat Internet Explorer by supporting Firefox (you can download it here). Firefox is a Web browser developed by the open-source Mozilla Foundation. Firefox ranks as the second most popular browser. ( See w3schools.com’s statistics on browser usage here. ).Now, Google has created their own open source browser, Chrome.
In the instant messaging arena, Google’s instant messaging service hasn’t come close to catching up to Yahoo Messenger, MSN Messenger/Windows Live Messenger, and AOL.
