Google Search Tips
Here are some tips on how you can efficiently use Google to search through billions of webpages in the Internet.
Type this in Google: intitle: “Company”
–> searches the titles of webpages in the Internet that contains the word “Company” in its title
e.g.:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&q=intitle%3ACompany+%22
Type this in Google: intext:”91205″ “suite” “contact”
–> searches the Internet for webpages that contain the following text “91205″, “suite”, and “contact” in its page.
e.g.:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&q=intext%3A%2291205%22+%22suite%22+%22contact%22&btnG=Search
Type this in Google: intitle:“Index of” .xls —> searches the Internet for webpages that display the list of files in the web server with .xls filename extension (spreadsheet files)
e.g.:
http://www.google.com/search?q=intitle%3A%22Index+of%22+.xls&btnG=Search&hl=en&lr=&sa=2
How about searching for PAYROLL files?
Type this in Google: intitle:“Index of” payroll.xls
