August 9, 2010 Weather Update: Tropical Storm Ester
At 4:00 a.m. today, Tropical Storm “Ester” was estimated based on radar, satellite and surface data at 530 km Northeast of Basco, Batanes (24.6°N 125.6°E) with maximum winds of 85 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 100 kph. It is forecast to move North Northeast at 15 kph.
