Beware of the fake peso bill scam. When paying in a restaurant or at any store, the cashier will claim that your money is fake and return your money so you will give the cashier another PhP 1,000 bill. What happens is that the cashier has already taken your “real” money and exchanged it with a fake. You will now have the fake money. Never leave the cash out of your sight…
